ARCHER's core offering is post-settlement Healthcare Lien Resolution Administration and QSF (Qualified Settlement Fund) Administration and payments processing for multi-claimant (mass tort and class action) litigation. Other services include claims administration, single event lien resolution, probate and bankruptcy coordination, release administration, medical records review, and plaintiff fact sheet and other intake/census preparation and management.  ARCHER enables law firms to focus on their litigation while ensuring that critical pre-settlement and post-settlement administration documents, services, business analytics and reporting are handled efficiently and effectively.


POSITION LOCATION: Austin, TX          



The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner will be the strategic HR partner for ARCHER Systems' Austin and Dallas office locations. The Sr. HRBP will be professional, confident and approachable to build relationships of trust across the company in delivering an efficient and high-quality service to staff and managers. Working as part of ARCHER's collaborative HR team, you will have the opportunity to apply the full breadth of your skills and experience to support a variety of projects to deliver innovative, value-add, best-practice HR initiatives across all our locations.


 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                               

  • Work with senior leaders to provide the full range of HR Business Partner support from a strategic and operational perspective, delivering annual processes including talent and succession planning, performance reviews, compensation, etc.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to management and employees to drive resolution in line with policies, guidelines, and employment law.
  • Counsel employees and provide support to managers concerning work-related problems.
  • Work with managers to deliver disciplinary warnings and performance improvement plans.
  • Responsible for all Employee Relations matters for the Austin and Dallas office locations. Assisting with other locations as needed.
  • Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and document compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide operational support on HR policies and processes to front-line managers, and staff.
  • Work with the HR team, outsourced support providers, and benefit providers to implement programs, policies, and initiatives with employees.
  • Work with the HR team to provide support for benefit programs, enrollments, and ongoing related needs.
  • Assist with recruiting processes for assigned locations by working with Recruiter and managers to align job descriptions, compensation, and postings to needs of the position and organization.
  • Act as the first point of contact for manager and employee questions regarding all HR inquiries.
  • Work with SVP of HR on special projects and initiatives to continue to build out the HR function to include Employee Engagement and Retention initiatives, Succession Planning, and continued developed of systems and processes within the HRIS and company Intranet.
  • Work with company marketing team and culture committee to create and implement employee company-wide employee appreciation initiatives.
  • Support delivery of annual and semi-annual performance review process and compensation/merit increase program.
  • Ensure consistent enforcement of HR policies, including escalation of identified issues as applicable.
  • Support Human Resources in monitoring potential necessary HR related changes and situations within the organization and developing recommendations to senior management and the board where needed.
  • Maintain and update best practices in line with industry standards.
  • Support and deliver project work as required, embedding new initiatives within client groups
  • Contribute to the creation of career pathways, and to organization-wide learning curriculums including delivering training programs
  • Contribute to development of change management and restructuring initiatives, which may include consultation and consensus-building with groups and individuals


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES                                                                                                                               

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification Preferred
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in a Human Resource Business Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in HR programs and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers and co-workers at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive culture yielding positive business results.
  • Experience working in a start-up / transitioning environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with competing priorities with the ability to remain focused and confident.
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations governing HR programs.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: concise, articulate, and confident.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity with a high degree of professionalism in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, decision making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Drives results and is solution oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to proactively handle issues.
