ARCHER's core offering is post-settlement Healthcare Lien Resolution Administration and QSF (Qualified Settlement Fund) Administration and payments processing for multi-claimant (mass tort and class action) litigation. Other services include claims administration, single event lien resolution, probate and bankruptcy coordination, release administration, medical records review, and plaintiff fact sheet and other intake/census preparation and management.  ARCHER enables law firms to focus on their litigation while ensuring that critical pre-settlement and post-settlement administration documents, services, business analytics and reporting are handled efficiently and effectively.



With general direction, the Technical Writer is responsible for the documentation of internal and external applications.  That person will create tutorials, cheat sheets, test drives, Release Notes, etc. to help end-users learn and use the products.  The Technical Writer has an interest in writing easy-to-understand user interface texts, online help guides, knowledge bases, and user guides.  That person will analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.  The Technical Writer will also be required to research and chase down answers if more information is needed to help complete the required documentation.  That person will have experience using and documenting enterprise software to enhance the end-users, administrators, installers, and implementation engineers experience.  The Technical Writer is required to execute project deliverables and tasks on time and on budget to support profitable and high-quality delivery.



  • Develops, proofreads, edits, formats, and helps push out concise copy and other related content
  • Performs analysis and testing of complex internal and third-party business applications
  • Reviews and analyzes requirements and specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Writes easy-to-understand user interface text, online help guides, knowledge bases, and user guides
  • Works with product team to obtain an in-depth understanding of product and documentation requirements
  • Creates tutorials, cheat sheets, Release Notes, test drives etc. to help end-users learn and use the products
  • Analyzes existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical products and make them easily understandable by using text, images, and screenshots
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Experience using and documenting enterprise software for end-users, administrators, installers, or implementation engineers
  • Ensures risks and issues for delivery against goals are identified in a timely manner and properly communicated
  • Indicates areas of system impact and continuously communicates project status and needs
  • Researches and proactively recommends improvements for related tools and techniques





  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Active, task-oriented writing style
  • Ability to deliver plans against high-level strategies and goals
  • Team player that works well with others
  • Ability to work effectively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects
  • Familiar with agile software development process
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues, and solutions
  • Ability to introduce creative ideas to solving complex problems
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, creative, and highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate status to senior management team


  • Experience with Technical Documentation and/or Systems
  • Experience with HTML or basic web development skills
  • Experience creating API documentation for .NET and other languages
  • Technical Writing certification
  • Process Improvement knowledge and/or experience
  • Experience with presenting information at meetings and technical forums.
